Delivering to Belleview from our Ocala yard

Belleview sits about 11 miles south of downtown Ocala on the US-27/301/441 corridor, the five-lane Abshier Boulevard that runs north out of town and widens into a divided highway toward Ocala. Our yard is on Ocala's north side, so figure on roughly 25 minutes of drive time for our roll-off truck, and a little more when the US-441 lights through south Ocala are backed up. Belleview is one of our shorter runs, which is why same-day and next-day delivery is often realistic here when you call early in the morning.

We serve the whole Belleview area, not just the 3.96 square miles inside city limits:

• Belleview Heights Estates and the east side toward Baseline Road (CR 35): a non-age-restricted subdivision with homes dating from the 1960s on, many of them block construction. Driveways here usually have room for a 20 or 30 yard.
• Lake Weir, Ocklawaha and the lake lots: Lake Weir Heights, Lake Weir Shores and Lake Weir Gardens carry Belleview addresses. Drives can be narrow, sandy and tree-lined, so tell us about low oak limbs and soft ground before we roll.
• Spruce Creek South (US-441/US-27, Summerfield): gated 55+ community of about 1,650 homes built 1989 to 1995 on roughly quarter-acre lots with mature trees. A 10 or 15 yard fits most of these driveways, and a 20 yard works on many. Give the gate our company name and the driver's arrival window.
• Stonecrest and Del Webb Spruce Creek Country Club: gated 55+ neighborhoods south toward The Villages. We deliver low-profile sizes here regularly for flooring, kitchen and downsizing jobs. Check your HOA's placement rule before you book, since many communities have one.

Belleview permits and placement: city limits vs. Marion County

This is where Belleview is different from the rest of the county, and it is worth two minutes before you book. The City of Belleview is small, about 5,400 people, but it has its own solid waste ordinance (Ordinance 2019-14, Chapter 66). ZIP 34420 alone has around 18,000 people, so most "Belleview" addresses are actually in unincorporated Marion County and follow county rules instead. Your tax bill or the county property appraiser will tell you which one you are.

Inside Belleview city limits

• Sec. 66-44(c) of the city code says a dumpster may not be placed on the city right-of-way at any time. Put the container on your driveway or private property, not the street or swale.
• Sec. 66-44(a) asks that dumpsters go in the rear of the property when possible, or otherwise in the least conspicuous spot available.
• Sec. 66-10(c) says construction waste bins inside the city are placed and collected under a nonexclusive franchise with the City, and Sec. 66-10(d) carves out licensed debris removal services. That requirement sits on the hauler, not the homeowner. Tell us your address is inside city limits when you book and we will walk you through how the placement works.
• Sec. 66-16 puts construction and demolition debris, including roofing shingles and felt, on the property owner and the contractor. It cannot go in your residential can or out for curbside pickup, which is the main reason Belleview remodels and reroofs end up in a roll-off.

Unincorporated Marion County (most of 34420 and 34421)

A dumpster on your own driveway or property needs no permit. If the only place it can go is the public right-of-way, Marion County requires a Right-of-Way Utilization Permit for any temporary private use of the right-of-way, handled by the Office of the County Engineer through the county's Civic Access online portal. Baseline Landfill is Belleview's neighbor, and that matters for your project

Marion County's Baseline Landfill is at 5601 SE 66th St, Ocala, just north of Belleview off Baseline Road (CR 35). It is open Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm, closed Sundays and federal holidays, and the same site has the Baseline Recycling Center and the household hazardous waste drop-off. For a Belleview roll-off that is good news in three ways.

• Short haul, reliable pickups. The run from a Belleview driveway to the Baseline scale is one of the shortest we make. That keeps Belleview pickups on schedule and makes swap-outs on bigger jobs practical.
• Weight is priced from the scale. Baseline's current published gate rate for household, furniture and construction debris is $3.25 per 100 lbs, or $65 per ton. Your included tonnage covers that disposal cost; if you load heavy (concrete, roofing, wet yard debris), overage is billed from the actual scale ticket rather than a guess.
• Hazardous items have a place to go. Paint, pool chemicals, fuel, propane tanks and batteries cannot ride in the dumpster, but the household hazardous waste facility at the same Baseline site handles them. Our where to dump, recycle and donate guide lists the details.

One more local note: in September 2025 the county raised the annual residential solid waste assessment from $87 to $215 to fund landfill expansion and reserves. Disposal is not getting cheaper, which is another reason to size the dumpster right and not pay to haul air or to overload.

Gutting a single-wide or double-wide produces a surprising volume: paneling, particleboard subfloor, carpet, cabinets, tubs and insulation. Metal skirting and old aluminum can go in, but keep it in one load so the weight stays predictable.

55+ downsizing and estate cleanouts

Spruce Creek South, Stonecrest and Del Webb Spruce Creek Country Club keep us busy with move-outs, estate cleanouts and the "we are finally clearing the lanai and garage" jobs. Furniture, boxes, old mattresses and lawn equipment are bulky but light, so a 15 or 20 yard is usually plenty. Roof replacements after storms

Belleview's ordinance specifically bars shingles and felt from residential cans, so roofers and homeowners put tear-off in a roll-off. Asphalt shingles are heavy. A 15 yard low-profile box is easy to load from a ladder and often keeps a single-layer residential tear-off inside the included tonnage; a double-layer roof or a large home moves you to a 20 yard. Tell us it is roofing when you book so we set the right tonnage expectations.

Lake-lot and yard cleanouts

Lake Weir and the Ocklawaha side bring us dock lumber, old boathouse material, fence sections, storm limbs and the accumulated junk of a weekend property. Yard waste and building material cannot go in a franchise can under the city code (Sec. 66-43), so a 20 or 30 yard on the drive is the practical answer. Wet palm fronds and oak limbs weigh more than you think; ask us before loading a 30 yard to the brim with green waste.

If a one-time pile is all you have and you would rather not load a container yourself, we also offer junk removal as a secondary option, but for anything more than a truckload the dumpster is the cheaper and more flexible choice.

When in doubt between two sizes, the larger one usually costs less than a second delivery. And every dumpster is 8 feet wide, so measure the driveway gap and gate before you decide.
