Residential Dumpster Rental in Ocala & Marion County

If you've never rented a roll-off before, the whole thing is simpler than it looks. You pick a size, we drop a container on your driveway on wooden boards, you fill it over the next two weeks, and we take it away. There's no weighing station to visit, no permit to chase in most cases, and no per-day meter running. This page covers what homeowners actually ask before booking their first one.

Picking a Size Without Overthinking It

Most residential jobs land on one of three. A 15 yard for a garage, a yard project or a single-room clear-out — its 3-foot walls make it the easiest to load by hand. A 20 yard for a kitchen remodel, a re-roof, whole-house flooring or a full house clear-out; this is the one most Ocala homeowners end up with. A 30 yard when the house, garage and shed all go at once. The exception is anything heavy — concrete, tile, dirt — which needs a 10 yard because weight, not space, is the limit.

What the Price Actually Includes

Delivery, pickup, the disposal tonnage and a 14-day rental, in one flat number quoted before you book. No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee, no daily rate ticking over. If a load runs past its included tonnage you'll know the per-ton rate in advance rather than finding it on an invoice — and for the vast majority of household jobs it simply doesn't come up.

Your Driveway Will Be Fine

This is the most common worry and it's a fair one. Our drivers place every container on wooden boards, which spread the load and keep the steel off your concrete or pavers. We position the can where you want it, not just where it's convenient to drop, and we'll talk through the approach if the driveway is narrow, freshly poured, stamped or sloped. What we do need is a clear path in and enough overhead room for the lift arm — mature oaks over older Ocala streets are the usual obstacle, so mention low branches when you book.

Permits, HOAs and Neighbours

On your own driveway or private property, a permit generally isn't required anywhere in Marion County. If the container has to sit on a public street or right-of-way, your city or the county may want one — our permit guide explains it in plain English. Separately, many Ocala-area HOAs and 55+ communities have their own rules about where a container may sit and for how long, and gated communities need access arranged for delivery and pickup. Worth a two-minute check before booking rather than a conversation with a board afterwards.

The Prohibited List, Briefly

Household junk, furniture, appliances, remodel debris, roofing, yard waste and construction material are all fine. Out: liquid paint, chemicals, solvents, fuels, motor oil, batteries, tires, propane cylinders, aerosols and asbestos. Appliances containing Freon need separate handling — tell us and we'll sort it. Garages are where most households discover they own several items on that list, so check the shelves before you start.

If You'd Rather Not Load It Yourself

A container assumes you want to do the work. If you don't — or physically can't — our junk removal crew does the lifting, loading and hauling for a flat price instead, and nothing sits on your driveway at all. The comparison guide runs both options side by side honestly.

Rent a Dumpster

What size dumpster do most homeowners need?

A 20 yard covers the majority of residential jobs — kitchen remodels, re-roofs, whole-house flooring and full house clear-outs. A 15 yard suits garages and yard work with easier loading; a 30 handles a house plus garage and shed together.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway?

We place every container on wooden boards to spread the load and keep steel off your concrete or pavers. Tell us if the driveway is newly poured, stamped, sloped or narrow and we'll walk the placement with you rather than guessing.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster at my house?

Not on your own driveway or private property. If it has to sit on a public street or right-of-way, your city or Marion County may require one — see our permit guide, and mention it when you book.

Is there a daily rate?

No. The flat price includes delivery, pickup, disposal tonnage and a full 14-day rental, with no fuel surcharge or environmental fee. If you go over the included tonnage you'll know the per-ton rate up front.

What if my HOA has rules about dumpsters?

Many Ocala-area HOAs and 55+ communities limit where a container can sit and for how long, and gated communities need access arranged for delivery and pickup. Check before booking and we'll schedule to fit their rules.

What can't I put in it?

Liquid paint, chemicals, solvents, fuels, motor oil, batteries, tires, propane cylinders, aerosols and asbestos. Freon appliances need separate handling. Garages are where most households find they own several of these — check the shelves first.
