Picking a Size Without Overthinking It

Most residential jobs land on one of three. A 15 yard for a garage, a yard project or a single-room clear-out — its 3-foot walls make it the easiest to load by hand. A 20 yard for a kitchen remodel, a re-roof, whole-house flooring or a full house clear-out; this is the one most Ocala homeowners end up with. A 30 yard when the house, garage and shed all go at once. The exception is anything heavy — concrete, tile, dirt — which needs a 10 yard because weight, not space, is the limit.

What the Price Actually Includes

Delivery, pickup, the disposal tonnage and a 14-day rental, in one flat number quoted before you book. No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee, no daily rate ticking over. If a load runs past its included tonnage you'll know the per-ton rate in advance rather than finding it on an invoice — and for the vast majority of household jobs it simply doesn't come up.

Your Driveway Will Be Fine

This is the most common worry and it's a fair one. Our drivers place every container on wooden boards, which spread the load and keep the steel off your concrete or pavers. We position the can where you want it, not just where it's convenient to drop, and we'll talk through the approach if the driveway is narrow, freshly poured, stamped or sloped. What we do need is a clear path in and enough overhead room for the lift arm — mature oaks over older Ocala streets are the usual obstacle, so mention low branches when you book.

Permits, HOAs and Neighbours

On your own driveway or private property, a permit generally isn't required anywhere in Marion County. If the container has to sit on a public street or right-of-way, your city or the county may want one — our permit guide explains it in plain English. Separately, many Ocala-area HOAs and 55+ communities have their own rules about where a container may sit and for how long, and gated communities need access arranged for delivery and pickup. Worth a two-minute check before booking rather than a conversation with a board afterwards.

The Prohibited List, Briefly

Household junk, furniture, appliances, remodel debris, roofing, yard waste and construction material are all fine. Out: liquid paint, chemicals, solvents, fuels, motor oil, batteries, tires, propane cylinders, aerosols and asbestos. Appliances containing Freon need separate handling — tell us and we'll sort it. Garages are where most households discover they own several items on that list, so check the shelves before you start.
