Old boat hauled off — trailer, hull and all.
A derelict boat in the yard or driveway is heavy, awkward, and nobody wants it. We haul it away — fiberglass, aluminum, trailer and all — so you get your space back without the hassle.
Boat removal · Silver Springs Shores & Marion County
Silver Springs Shores is one of the biggest residential communities in Marion County — mile after mile of quiet streets and generous lots, and a surprising number of those lots have a boat on them that hasn't touched water in years. It came home for a quick repair, or the kids grew up, or the trailer tires went flat one summer and that was that. Now it sits under a shredded tarp beside the house, collecting rainwater and wasp nests, and it's the one thing in the yard you've promised yourself you'd deal with.
Consider it dealt with. The Junk Sharks removes boats from Shores properties start to finish: we come out, quote one flat price on the spot, and take the whole rig — hull, motor, trailer, the works. You don't drag anything to the street, rent a truck, or talk a buddy into loaning you a hitch. If it rolls, we tow it. If it doesn't, we cut it apart where it sits and haul out the pieces. Book online in about 60 seconds, or call or text (352) 581-2576.

Every kind of vessel
If it floats — or used to — we haul it. Every kind of watercraft that ends up parked on a Shores lot is on our list:
Straightforward pricing
Boat removal in Silver Springs Shores starts around $149 and climbs from there based on three things: the size of the vessel, the type of vessel, and how much teardown it takes to get it off your property. A kayak leaned against the fence is one kind of job; a 24-foot cruiser that has to come apart in the side yard is another.
The pricing itself is simple. We come out, look at the boat and its path off the lot, and hand you one flat, all-in number before any work begins. That number covers the entire job:
Just as important is what the number never includes: add-ons. Trailer tires that went flat years ago? Covered. A waterlogged hull twice its original weight? Covered. A gate that clears the beam by two inches? Covered. The figure we quote standing in your yard is the figure on the receipt — no fuel surcharges, no weight surprises, no renegotiating halfway through the job.
Dead simple
No hauling it to the curb, no renting a truck, no throwing your back out. Four steps and it's gone.

Coverage
Silver Springs Shores sits in a lucky spot for boaters — and an unlucky one for old boats. The Silver River and Silver Springs lie just to the north, Lake Weir just to the south, and that geography is exactly why so many Shores garages and side yards ended up with a hull in them. Kayaks bought for clear-water paddles on the Silver River, pontoons that spent their best summers on Lake Weir, jon boats that worked the Ocklawaha — they all come home to the Shores eventually, and some never leave again. Until we show up.

Questions
Still not sure? Call (352) 581-2576 — we will give you a straight answer and a flat price.
Book Boat RemovalYes. Flat tires, seized bearings, a tongue rusted into the dirt — none of it changes the price or stops the job. If the trailer can be made to roll, we tow it out. If it can't, we load the boat and trailer separately or cut them down where they sit. There's no add-on charge for any of it; the flat quote you approved already covers the awkward parts.
Usually, yes. A title isn't always required to dispose of a boat, and what paperwork applies depends on the situation — registered or never registered, boat versus trailer, owner versus estate. We deal with this all the time, so when you call we'll walk you through what's needed for your specific case before anything is scheduled. Missing paperwork is a conversation, not a dead end.
No — tight access is normal in the Shores, where boats get tucked beside houses and behind gates. We look at the exit path when we quote: sometimes the answer is removing a fence panel and rehanging it, sometimes it's cutting the boat into sections and carrying them out by hand. Either way it's built into the one flat price, never billed as an extra.
Often, yes. We run seven days a week from 6am to 8:30pm, and Silver Springs Shores is a short drive from our Ocala yard, so same-day and next-day pickups are common when the schedule allows. If you're working against an HOA or code enforcement deadline, tell us the date when you book and we'll do our best to get there ahead of it.
It gets broken down rather than dumped whole. Aluminum hulls, outboard motors, and trailers are stripped and recycled for their metal; fiberglass hulls are cut down and disposed of properly along with the rest. The quote you approve covers all of that disposal and recycling for both the boat and the trailer — nothing comes back to you later.
Don't panic — those letters come with a compliance date, and removing the boat is normally the whole fix. Call or text us with that date and we'll aim to schedule your removal ahead of it. Most jobs finish in a single visit, and it's worth photographing the cleared spot afterward for your records or your HOA file.
