That old boat, finally gone

Life in The Villages moves by golf cart — to the square, to the course, to pickleball. What doesn't move is the boat. Maybe it came down with you from a lake house up north and never touched Florida water. Maybe your husband or wife was the boater, and it has sat under a fading cover ever since they stopped going out. Maybe you're trading the designer home for a villa and the new place has a golf cart garage, not a boat bay.

The Junk Sharks removes boats from homes, courtyard villas, and storage lots across The Villages. We show up, look the vessel over, hand you one flat price, and take it away — boat, trailer, motor, all of it. You never lift anything, rent anything, or figure out where a fiberglass hull is even supposed to go. Book online in about 60 seconds, or call or text (352) 581-2576. We answer seven days a week, 6am to 8:30pm, so you can schedule the pickup before your morning tee time and be done with it by lunch.

Straightforward pricing

What boat removal costs in The Villages

Boat removal here starts around $149 and goes up with the size and type of the vessel and how much cutting it takes to get it out. A single jet ski on a rolling trailer sits at the low end; a 24-foot pontoon that has to come apart behind a courtyard villa sits higher. We don't guess at it over the phone, and we don't pad the number later. We come out, look at the boat and the access, and give you an exact, all-in figure before any work starts.

That one price covers everything: loading or towing, teardown if the boat needs it, hauling, and proper disposal or recycling of both the boat and the trailer. Trailer tires flat for a decade? Hull waterlogged and twice its listed weight? Boat wedged in a tight side yard off a cul-de-sac? None of that adds a dime — it's simply part of the job we quoted. For folks budgeting carefully in retirement, that certainty is the point. You know the full cost before you say yes, and the number you approve is the number you pay.

Questions

Boat removal FAQs

Still not sure? Call (352) 581-2576 — we will give you a straight answer and a flat price.

Book Boat Removal
The trailer has flat tires and hasn't moved in years. Can you still take it?

Yes. Flat tires, seized bearings, a rusted hitch — none of it stops the pickup or changes your price. We bring the equipment to load a trailer that won't roll, and if the trailer is beyond saving we haul it right along with the boat. You don't need to air anything up or move anything before we arrive.

I can't find the title. Can you still remove the boat?

Usually, yes. A title isn't always required to dispose of a boat, and we help owners sort out the paperwork side before we load anything. Tell us what you have — registration, a bill of sale, or nothing at all — and we'll walk you through the options for your situation when we come out for the quote.

Do you offer same-day boat removal in The Villages?

Often, yes. We're based in Ocala, a short drive up the road, and we run seven days a week from 6am to 8:30pm. Call or text (352) 581-2576 as early as you can, and we'll tell you honestly whether today is doable or whether tomorrow morning is the realistic slot.

Do I have to be home, or can you meet me at the storage lot?

Either works. Many of our Villages pickups happen at storage lots outside the community — meet us there, we'll look the boat over, give you the exact flat price, and take it as soon as you approve. If the boat is at your home, someone just needs to approve the price before we start; after that, you can get back to your day.

I got a deed compliance letter about the boat. How fast can you get it gone?

Tell us the deadline when you call and we'll schedule around it — often within a day or two. We can't advise on the letter itself, but we can remove the reason for it: boat, trailer, and motor gone in one visit, so the follow-up inspection finds an empty driveway.

What happens to my boat after you haul it away?

We break it down and recycle what can be recycled — aluminum pontoons and jon boats, outboard motors, trailers, and other metals — and dispose of fiberglass hulls and rotted materials properly. Nothing gets dumped in a field or left sitting on a back lot, and the trailer is handled right along with the boat.
