Boat removal starts around $149 and climbs from there. The price depends on what you've got — a jet ski isn't a pontoon, and a pontoon isn't a 30-foot sailboat — and on how much teardown it takes to get the thing out of where it sits.
Here's how we keep it honest. We look at the boat and its access in person, then hand you one flat, all-in number before a single strap goes on. That number covers everything: loading or towing, cutting the boat apart if the job calls for it, hauling, and disposal or recycling of both the boat and the trailer. We don't pile on extra charges because the trailer tires are flat, the hull is waterlogged and heavy, or the side gate is narrow. If you say yes, that's what you pay. If you say no, you're out nothing but a few minutes of your afternoon.
Why does it cost anything to get rid of a boat you'd happily give away? Because almost nobody wants a free project boat, and fiberglass can't go out with the trash. Book Boat RemovalCan you remove a boat if the trailer won't roll?
Yes. Flat tires, seized bearings, a trailer half-buried in the yard — none of it changes the price or scares us off. We bring winches, jacks, and dollies, and if the trailer truly can't be moved, we cut it up and haul it out in pieces along with the boat. Disposal of both boat and trailer is included in your flat quote either way.
Do I need the title to get rid of my boat?
Not always. Plenty of the boats we remove come from estates, old purchases, or long-gone previous owners, and the paperwork disappeared years ago. Bring us what you have — a title, an old registration, a bill of sale — and we'll walk you through what's needed for your situation before we haul anything. It's a conversation we have all the time, so don't let a missing document stop you from calling.
Can you get a boat out of a backyard or tight side yard?
Yes, and there's no extra charge for tight access. If the boat fits through the gate, we winch or wheel it out. If it doesn't, we cut the hull down on site and carry it out in sections. Either way you get one flat price quoted before we start, and we clean up after ourselves before we leave.
Do you offer same-day boat removal?
Often, yes. We run seven days a week from 6am to 8:30pm, so if you call or text (352) 581-2576 in the morning, there's a real chance the boat is gone by dinner. Same-day depends on that day's schedule and the size of the job, but at minimum we'll get you the earliest slot we have and show up when we said we would.
What happens to the boat after you haul it away?
We break it down and send each part where it belongs. Aluminum hulls, outboard motors, and trailer steel get recycled as scrap metal. Fiberglass and rotten decking go to a proper disposal facility, since fiberglass can't be recycled curbside. Nothing gets dumped in the woods or abandoned at a ramp — our name and USDOT number are on the truck, and we handle disposal the right way.
Do you take the motor and everything else on board?
Yes. Outboard motors go with the boat whether they're bolted to the transom or sitting in the garage, and the trailer is included too. If the boat is full of old gear, life jackets, fuel tanks, or general clutter, mention it when you book — we're a junk removal company first, so clearing the contents along with the hull is normal work for us.
